Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is used to replace missing teeth. It can be used as an alternative to implants.

A bridge attaches on each side to the natural teeth. It can be either a fixed bridge which means it remains permanently attached or a removable bridge which can be taken in and out of the mouth. A removable bridge can be taken out of the mouth and cleaned. A fixed bridge is the more stable option but the downside of a fixed bridge is that it is requires more care to keep it clean.

Bridges are constructed from ceramic, porcelain, gold alloys or a combination of these materials.

Dental bridges are sturdy and long-lasting. Occasionally they need to be replaced or re-bonded due to normal wear and tear.
